Fun Times at the Smith household
Jack and Audrey had some great cuddle time on Sunday after church. Jack loves his little sister and she follows him with her eyes anywhere! They always enjoy making each other laugh too!

Race for the Cure
This morning, I took my team down to Indianapolis to run in the Susan B. Komen Race for the Cure 5K. It was part of their spring training, although meant to be a fun team activity as well. We had a blast! Even though it rained at the start, it was a memorable day with lot's of people and fun. Of course, it helped to go out for a big breakfast right afterwards...anything for food!
Oh yeah, and I ran too...with Audrey...propped in the jogger stroller (in pink of course). Training started on Tuesday and I am happy to say I ran the whole way. :) It felt great!

Prayers for a Friend
Please pray for my friend, Shannon and her family. Her two children were recently diagnosed with a rare debilitating and terminal disease. I can't even imagine the grief they must be feeling and are currently isolated from many friends and family in London where Matt works. Please spread the word so they can be lifting up continuously in prayer.

Prayers Needed
Edited at 11:15 PM on Monday evening: We don't know the specifics, but we have just heard that Luke Dornon has been found!
Please pray for this student and his family. His sister is in my class. It's not clear how he went missing or the circumstances, but we will keep you posted.
Taylor University officials have learned that freshman physics engineering student Luke Dornon, who is in Ecuador on a Taylor Ringers spring break trip, is missing. The Ringers, along with Taylor biology students, were visiting Kajas National Park about 20 miles from Cuenca Sunday afternoon, when Luke failed to return to the bus following a hike around a lake in the park. He was last seen around 4:00 p.m. local time.
Please be in prayer for Luke, the search party, and Luke’s fellow students in Ecuador, along with his family and friends. His sister, Rachel, is a senior at Taylor.

Two Weeks
Well, it seems like little Audrey has been part of our lives for much longer than two weeks, but that's exactly how old she was as of 5:51 today. Here are just a few more "catch up" pictures, including several of Audrey's visitors during her first couple days.

Jack and Audrey
Here are some fun pictures of Jack and Audrey from today. We'll be sure to designate a post for newborn pictures and video, but it may take some time! :) For now, enjoy these priceless brother/sister moments.
Also, Jack did a great job building towers during one of Audrey's naps. Here he is working hard on his construction and engineering abilities!
Finally, we discovered we don't have many pictures of Audrey with her eyes open, but here is a good one:

No More Monkeys...
This video is a little outdated (Christmas time), but we rediscovered it tonight and thought it was worth a late posting!

Learning to Lie

This is a great article! It's a little bit long, but absolutely facsinating regarding a child's ability to lie, and the consequences of how parents handle those lies. It gives some great background into why kids lie and what type of parenting environment can enhance or help a child to tell the truth. Enjoy!

Mommy & Jack Time + Baby Girl Update
Jack and Mommy have had some fun lately cuddling and catching up before baby girl arrives. Even though there is not much room on the lap for Jack, he finds a way to make it work!
Also, an update on baby girl: she still is hanging on and we are thankful! Our prayer is that she makes it as long as she needs to in order to arrive healthy and safely. Things continue to progress so we aren't going anywhere far and certainly not overdoing it at work, and the doctor still is expecting her sometime before next week Monday. However, we'll see. This could be a fun joke she plays on all of us and we would be okay with that! :)
That still didn't stop us from putting our preparations into high gear and here are a few pictures of my players helping us out by scrapping the wallpaper in the nursery. Thanks ladies!
